DHT Blockers

A current list of DHT Blockers:

As we have already discovered, DHT cuts off blood supply to the hair follicles and causes them to die out leading to hair loss. However, it's not all bad news for hair loss sufferers - you can reverse hair loss by taking a course of DHT blockers, which have already been proven to be effective REF Read about the twin brothers example here.

A DHT blocker has two primary functions: blocking the production of DHT and preventing DHT from clogging up hair follicles causing miniaturization - a process that makes hair thinner and less visible.

There are several types of DHT Blockers available and the best DHT blocker agents are drugs belonging to a group known as 5a-reductase inhibitors. These inhibitors are used to treat a number of different medical problems that are caused by DHT over-activity in the body. This group includes substances called Dutasteride and Finasteride.
